The ITV SPIKA MS1000A2HR is a high-capacity 30"-wide modular ice machine head with a remote air condenser, producing up to 1,041 lb (472 kg) of ice per day. Because the condenser mounts away from the head — on a roof, in a mechanical room, or outdoors — it keeps heat and noise out of the work area while delivering more ice than the equivalent self-contained model. Its compact half-dice cube packs densely and chills drinks fast. This is a head-only unit that requires a separate RC10 remote condenser and storage bin.

ITV SPIKA MS1000A2HR Commercial Ice Machine Head - 1,041 lb/Day Half Dice Cube, 30 inches Remote Air-Cooled Modular 208-230V Description

The SPIKA MS1000 REMOTE is ITV's large-format modular cube machine for operations that want maximum ice and minimum heat in the room. The MS1000A2HR pairs a 30"-wide head with a separate RC10 remote air-cooled condenser, connected by a field-installed refrigerant line set. Moving the condenser away from the head sends its waste heat outdoors or into a mechanical space instead of the kitchen, which lowers ambient heat and noise where staff work and helps the system hold high output.

That remote configuration also lifts capacity: at nominal conditions the MS1000A2HR makes about 1,041 lb (472 kg) per day — and roughly 1,006 lb (456 kg) at ASHRAE conditions — noticeably more than the self-contained MS1000A2H. It runs on 208–230V / 60 Hz single-phase power, with the head and the RC10 condenser each on their own circuit.

The ice is half dice — about 0.9" × 0.4" × 1" (23 × 11 × 26 mm). These smaller, flatter cubes pack tightly into a cup, expose more surface area to cool drinks quickly, and stretch further per pound, which makes them ideal for soft-drink fountains, self-serve dispensing, and high-volume food service. The machine forms about 800 cubes per cycle on a high-efficiency vertical plate evaporator, using ITV's patented smart water distributor for clean, consistent cubes.

The head pairs with a wide range of ITV storage bins and can be stacked two-high on the larger SCD-series bins to roughly double output in the same floor footprint. A smart electronic control board manages every parameter and shows self-diagnostics; panels come off with a single screwdriver for fast service, and the high-resistance AISI 304 stainless steel frame is built for demanding kitchens. A remote system requires professional installation of the condenser and refrigerant lines.

Key Features

  • Remote air condenser (RC10): keeps condenser heat and noise out of the work area
  • High capacity: up to 1,041 lb (472 kg) per day; ~1,006 lb (456 kg) at ASHRAE — more than the self-contained model
  • 208–230V / 60 Hz / single-phase power (head and condenser on separate circuits)
  • Compact half-dice cube: ~0.9" × 0.4" × 1" (23 × 11 × 26 mm) — packs densely and chills drinks fast
  • Approx. 800 cubes per cycle
  • Stackable two-high on larger SCD-series bins to roughly double output
  • Energy: 4.46 kWh / 100 lb of ice
  • Patented smart water distributor for clean, consistent cubes and better scale resistance
  • High-efficiency vertical plate evaporator
  • Smart electronic control board with self-diagnostics
  • Tool-light service: panels remove with a single screwdriver (EASI — Easy Access for Service & Installation)
  • High-resistance AISI 304 stainless steel frame (STIF — Strong Inox Frame)
  • Ice scoop included
  • NSF and ETL (Intertek) certified

Best For

  • Sites that need to keep condenser heat and noise out of the kitchen or service area
  • High-volume soft-drink fountains and self-serve beverage dispensing
  • Large restaurants, cafeterias, hotels, and catering operations wanting maximum throughput
  • Installations with a suitable roof, mechanical room, or outdoor location for the condenser

Standard Delivery

Our estimated delivery time is 4-6 business days for most eligible areas after the order has been processed and shipped.

Some larger ice machines may require freight delivery. Freight shipments may take longer depending on location, carrier availability, and delivery appointment scheduling.

Do not install or use a damaged product before contacting us.

Incorrect or Incomplete Address

Please make sure your shipping address is complete and accurate before placing your order.

Ice Maker Supply is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or extra charges caused by:

A package may be returned to the sender due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • Incomplete address
  • Failed delivery attempts
  • Refused delivery
  • Carrier access issues
  • Unclaimed shipment

If your package is returned to the sender, contact us with your order number and correct shipping address.

We will review the situation and help arrange the next step. Reshipping fees may apply.

Pre-Order or Backordered Items

If a product is listed as pre-ordered or backordered, the product page may show the estimated shipping date.

Pre-order and backorder shipping dates are estimates and may change due to supplier production, warehouse availability, or carrier delays.

If the estimated shipping date changes, we will do our best to keep you informed.

Warranty Replacement Shipping

If a warranty replacement is approved, shipping may depend on the manufacturer, supplier, or warranty provider.

Replacement orders may require:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Photos or videos of the issue
  • Troubleshooting steps
  • Return of the original item
  • Supplier or manufacturer approval

A replacement will be shipped only after the required review process is complete.

Lost or Stalled Shipments

If your tracking shows no movement for more than 5 business days, contact us.

We may contact the carrier, warehouse, or supplier to check the shipment status.

If a package is confirmed lost, we will review available options based on the carrier investigation and supplier rules.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the ITV Ice Makers SPIKA MS1000A2HR 30" Remote Air-Cooled Modular Half-Dice Cube Ice Machine (head only)?

It’s the 30" ice-machine head portion of a modular half-dice cube system that requires a separate RC10 remote air-cooled condenser, a field-installed refrigerant line set, and a compatible ice storage bin to operate.

How much ice does the MS1000A2HR produce per day?

Up to about 1,041 lb (472 kg) per 24 hours at nominal conditions, and roughly 1,006 lb (456 kg) per 24 hours at ASHRAE conditions.

What kind of cube does this machine make, and why is it useful?

It produces half-dice cubes about 0.9" × 0.4" × 1" (23 × 11 × 26 mm). Their dense, flatter shape helps pack tightly and cool drinks quickly, making them ideal for soft-drink fountains and self-serve beverage dispensing.

What power and wiring requirements does the head use?

The head runs on 208–230V, 60Hz, single-phase (±10%). It’s designed for separate circuits: the head and the RC10 condenser each require their own electrical supply and fusing.

Why choose a remote condenser instead of a self-contained unit?

A remote condenser moves condenser heat and noise away from the kitchen or staff area (to outdoors or a mechanical space), helping reduce ambient heat in the work area and supporting high ice output.
