The Manitowoc IDT0420A Indigo NXT full dice cube ice machine supplies restaurants, bars and hospitality beverage stations with up to 470 lb of ice every 24 hours at 70°F air and 50°F water. At the warmer AHRI rating conditions of 90°F air and 70°F water, its output is 375 lb per day. This air-cooled modular head measures just 22 inches wide and uses a self-contained condenser. An ice storage bin is purchased separately, allowing the storage setup to suit the operation.
The IDT0420A makes full dice cubes measuring 7/8 inch on each side. This familiar cube shape suits mixed drinks, water service and general beverage cooling. Manitowoc's acoustical ice sensing probe works with Active Sense software to manage harvest cycles as operating conditions change. The machine uses R410A refrigerant, and its air-cooled configuration does not require the condenser cooling-water supply used by water-cooled models.
The easyTouch display brings operating information and production settings to the front of the machine. Operators can schedule on/off times, program daily ice production volume and use nighttime settings to match changing service needs. Intelligent diagnostics monitor the system around the clock and provide maintenance and diagnostic feedback. The DuraTech exterior has a clear-coat finish that resists fingerprints and dirt and can be wiped clean during routine care.
