The ICETRO Maestro IM-1100-WC is a 30″ water-cooled modular ice machine head that produces hard, classic cube ice at up to 1,036 lbs per day. Water-cooled condensing keeps heat and noise out of the room, holds production steady even in hot conditions, and delivers excellent energy efficiency — making it ideal for hot kitchens, enclosed equipment rooms, and high-ambient environments. As a modular head it mounts on a separate ICETRO storage bin (sold separately) and runs on a 208–230V circuit.

ICETRO IM-1100-WC Commercial Ice Machine Head - 1,036 lb/day, Full Dice Cube, 30 inches Water-Cooled Modular Description

Built in the ICETRO tradition of simplicity, reliability, longevity, and high performance, the Maestro IM-1100-WC pairs high cube-ice output with the cool, quiet operation of water-cooled condensing. Instead of dumping heat into the surrounding space, it rejects condenser heat through a water loop — keeping nearby areas cooler, holding production remarkably steady in high ambient temperatures, and lowering energy use to a highly efficient 4.13 kWh per 100 lbs.

Its hard, slow-melting cube ice is ideal for cocktails, soft drinks, and water service where clarity and melt resistance matter. Production is rated up to 1,036 lbs per 24 hours under standard conditions (70°F air / 50°F water) and stays strong at 1,004 lbs under warmer conditions (90°F air / 70°F water), on a dedicated 208–230V circuit. A water-cooled machine needs a condenser water supply and drain in addition to the potable ice-making water line, and uses more water than an air-cooled unit. Prefer air-cooled? The IM-1100-AC is the air-cooled equivalent; want to move heat outside entirely? The IM-1100-RC uses a remote condenser. Need smaller pieces? The IM-1100-WH makes water-cooled half-cube ice.

Key Features

  • High cube-ice output — up to 1,036 lbs/day for the highest-demand operations
  • Outstanding efficiency — 4.13 kWh / 100 lbs, the most efficient IM-1100 option
  • Water-cooled condensing rejects heat through a water loop, not into the room
  • Holds output in heat — stays strong (1,004 lbs/day) even in high ambient temperatures
  • Quieter operation — no large condenser fan dumping heat and noise nearby
  • Hard cube ice — clear, slow-melting cubes ideal for bars, restaurants, and water service
  • Modular design — pairs with a separate storage bin so you can size capacity to demand
  • 208–230V power — dedicated higher-voltage circuit supports high production
  • 30″ footprint — fits ICETRO 30″ storage bins (IB-033, IB-044)
  • Commercial build — backed by ICETRO's multi-year parts, evaporator, and compressor warranty

Best For

Hot kitchens, enclosed equipment rooms, basements, and high-ambient or noise-sensitive environments where air-cooled heat rejection is a problem — and any high-volume operation that wants maximum energy efficiency and steady output with the flexibility to match bin storage to throughput.

Shipping Policy

At Ice Maker Supply, we work to make shipping clear, reliable, and easy to track. Most orders are shipped through trusted warehouse, supplier, or carrier partners. Shipping times may vary based on product availability, warehouse location, delivery address, carrier schedule, freight requirements, and order volume.

Standard Delivery

Our estimated delivery time is 4-6 business days for most eligible areas after the order has been processed and shipped.

Some larger ice machines may require freight delivery. Freight shipments may take longer depending on location, carrier availability, and delivery appointment scheduling.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Order Processing

Orders are usually processed during regular business days, Monday through Friday.

Processing may take longer during:

  • Holidays
  • High order volume

  • Freight scheduling

If there is a delay with your order, we will do our best to keep you updated.

If a product is listed as pre-ordered or backordered, the product page may show the estimated shipping date.

Pre-order and backorder shipping dates are estimates and may change due to supplier production, warehouse availability, or carrier delays.

If the estimated shipping date changes, we will do our best to keep you informed.

If a warranty replacement is approved, shipping may depend on the manufacturer, supplier, or warranty provider.

Replacement orders may require:

  • Proof of purchase

  • Troubleshooting steps
  • Return of the original item
  • Supplier or manufacturer approval

A replacement will be shipped only after the required review process is complete.

I manage the event side of our property, and my concern wasn’t normal dinner service. It was those fifteen minutes before doors open when three different people suddenly need ice. Having more capacity available has taken some of the panic out of that moment.

Day 1: everyone wanted to inspect the new machine.
Day 20: nobody talks about it anymore.
That’s progress 😂

P

A weird benefit: our servers stopped overfilling glasses with ice. The full cubes take up space more predictably, so drink prep feels a little more consistent.

We had a tasting dinner where some pours sat at the table much longer than usual. I paid attention to the ice afterward, and the drinks weren’t getting diluted nearly as quickly as I was used to seeing.

“Finally, cubes that don’t look beat up by the time they reach the glass.” That was our bar manager’s reaction. Pretty much sums it up.

I
Irene Russell

The IM-1100-WC appears well aligned with a cocktail bar that needs a defined combination of capacity and ice style. Its rating of up to 1,036 lb per day, full-dice cube ice format and 30-inch footprint are presented clearly on the product page. I also appreciate that it is identified as a modular head rather than a machine with built-in storage. My only reservation is the additional coordination involved in coordinating the water and drain connections for the water-cooled installation; that is normal for this configuration, but it should be handled early.

H
Howard Ramsey

Commercial ice-machine model numbers can be difficult to compare, but the Ice Maker Supply page keeps the important distinctions visible. For the IM-1100-WC, I could identify the 1,036 lb/day rating, full-dice cube ice format, 30-inch cabinet width and water-cooled configuration without guessing. The modular-head description also signals that a separate storage bin is part of the system. The page gives a commercial buyer the core facts needed for a productive equipment discussion.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ice does the ICETRO Maestro IM-1100-WC make?

It produces hard, slow-melting cube ice (not half-cubes). This is ideal for cocktails, soft drinks, and water service where clarity and melt resistance matter.

How much ice does the ICETRO Maestro IM-1100-WC produce per day?

Under standard conditions (70°F air / 50°F water) it produces up to 1,036 lbs per 24 hours. Under warmer conditions (90°F air / 70°F water) it stays strong at about 1,004 lbs per 24 hours.

Does the ICETRO Maestro IM-1100-WC require special plumbing?

Yes. As a water-cooled unit, it needs a condenser water supply and a drain in addition to the potable ice-making water line. It also uses more water than an air-cooled model.

What power does the IM-1100-WC need?

It requires a dedicated 208–230V (60Hz, 1Ph) circuit to support high daily production.

What storage bin should I use with this modular ice machine head?

The IM-1100-WC is a modular head and needs a separate ICETRO 30″ storage bin. Common options are IB-033 (350 lb capacity) or IB-044 (440 lb capacity).
