This has been a dependable machine for our kitchen. Ice production stays steady and the unit has been easy for the staff to work with.
We filled several beverage coolers for an off-site job and I expected to wipe out our supply. Came back later and there was already a decent amount waiting again. That recovery was the part that impressed me.
I wasn’t looking for fancy features; I wanted an ice machine the new hires could understand quickly. They were using it comfortably on their first shift without a bunch of questions.
My staff calls it the boring machine because nobody ever talks about it 😂 that’s a compliment
Our busiest hour is actually brunch, not dinner. We can suddenly have dozens of iced drinks going out at once, and having this machine nearby has made those mornings much less frantic.
First thing I checked was how the ice poured from a scoop. no sticking together, no fighting with it. nice
We put this near our banquet prep station instead of behind the main bar. Now the event crew can load their own ice tubs without getting in the bartenders’ way.
The half cubes are a sweet spot for our drink service. Small enough to pack a glass well without turning into crushed ice.
We use this pretty hard during lunch and dinner service and it keeps up better than our old setup. The ice comes out consistent and the machine feels solid.
