ifq1-xl
Ice-O-Matic IFQ1-XL Single Ice Machine Water Filtration System - 2.25 GPM, 22,500 Gallons, 0.5 Micron

Ice-O-Matic IFQ1-XL - Higher-Capacity Water Treatment in a Single-Filter Assembly

The Ice-O-Matic IFQ1-XL ice machine water filtration system increases treatment capacity while keeping a single-cartridge layout. It handles a maximum service flow of 2.25 GPM and is rated for 22,500 gallons, making it useful where a standard single-filter assembly does not provide enough flow or cartridge capacity.

The IFQ system combines 0.5-micron particle reduction with activated carbon to reduce sediment, chlorine taste and odor. Its IsoNet treatment inhibits scale precipitation and accumulation in the water circuit. These functions address different causes of poor ice quality and equipment deposits while protecting water-handling components from debris.

The assembly uses one IOMQ-XL cartridge with a quarter-turn quick-twist connection. A wall-mount bracket, inlet shut-off valve, gauge and quick-connect fittings are supplied with the system. The shut-off and accessible cartridge arrangement support routine service without dismantling the complete installation.

Overall dimensions are 6 inches wide by 4 inches deep by 21 inches high. Allow another 3 inches below the cartridges for service. Rated gallon capacity is a filtration specification, not a guarantee of a six-month life under every water condition; replace cartridges at least every 180 days and maintain the ice machine according to its own cleaning schedule.

Key Features

Maximum service flow: 2.25 GPM

Rated filtration capacity: 22,500 gallons

0.5-micron particle reduction with activated-carbon filtration

IsoNet scale-inhibiting treatment

Uses one IOMQ-XL quick-twist cartridge

Includes wall bracket, inlet shut-off valve, gauge and quick-connect fittings

NSF Standard 42 certification stated in the manufacturer family sheet

Best For

Busy restaurant and hospitality ice stations that require 2.25 GPM of filtered water and have room for a 21-inch-tall single-filter assembly.

Full Specifications

Specification

Details

Brand

Ice-O-Matic

Model

IFQ1-XL

Type

Single-cartridge ice machine water filtration system

Maximum service flow

2.25 GPM

Rated capacity

22,500 gallons

Micron rating

0.5 micron

Dimensions (W x D x H)

6 x 4 x 21 in.

Operating pressure

10-125 psi

Inlet water temperature

35-100°F

Cartridges

One IOMQ-XL

Minimum service clearance

3 in. below cartridges

Approximate shipping weight

5 lb

Certification

NSF Standard 42

Filter change interval

At least every 180 days (6 months)

Warranty

Ice-O-Matic provides a 90-day parts warranty for accessories.
