b55
Ice-O-Matic B55 30-Inch Ice Storage Bin - 510 lb Capacity, Slope Front with Adjustable Legs

Ice-O-Matic B55 - A 510-Pound Ice Reserve in a 30-Inch Cabinet

For operations that need a larger reserve of ready-to-scoop ice, the Ice-O-Matic B55 ice storage bin offers 510 lb of application storage in a 30-inch-wide footprint. The 31-inch depth keeps the bin suitable for commercial equipment lines, while the installed height is 50 inches with standard legs.

A foam-insulated polyethylene liner helps slow ice melt, while the durable aluminum exterior suits daily use in commercial service areas. The top-hinged, slope-front access door lets staff reach the stored ice from the front. Ice-O-Matic includes an ice scoop and an internal holder to give the scoop a dedicated storage position between uses.

Adjustable legs are supplied as standard and extend from 6 to 7 inches for leveling. Meltwater leaves through a rear 3/4-inch FPT bin drain. This is an insulated storage bin without an ice-making mechanism; the ice machine is a separate component, allowing storage capacity and daily production to be selected independently.

Compatible 30-inch heads mount according to the machine specification. The KBT19 adapter serves approved 21- or 22-inch heads on this 30-inch bin. The quoted storage capacity describes the amount of ice the bin holds, not a daily production rate. Ice form and how ice settles affect usable storage in operation.

Key Features

Application ice storage capacity: 510 lb

30-inch width and 31-inch depth

50-inch overall height with standard 6-inch legs

Insulated polyethylene liner with durable aluminum exterior

Top-hinged slope-front access door

Included ice scoop and internal scoop holder

Adjustable 6- to 7-inch legs and rear 3/4-inch FPT drain

NSF-listed storage-bin family

Best For

Restaurants, bars, hotels and catering support areas that need a substantial ice reserve beneath a compatible modular head.

Full Specifications

Specification

Details

Brand

Ice-O-Matic

Model

B55

Type

Insulated ice storage bin for a separate modular ice maker

Application storage capacity

510 lb

Overall dimensions (W x D x H)

30 x 31 x 50 in. with standard 6-in. legs

Cabinet height without legs

44 in.

Exterior

Aluminum finish

Liner

Polyethylene with foam insulation

Door

Top-hinged, slope-front

Legs

6-7 in. adjustable; included

Bin drain

Rear 3/4 in.
